Editor and Chief of Horror Monthly is Sebastian Anderson, who was also born and raised in Serenity, Ohio. He's considered the unofficial leader of the Merry Band of Misfits. His power is being able to speak to animals. Animals of all types just flock to him, which is why we gave him the nickname of Noah, referencing the Ark.
This is the reason he decided to start investigating the Appalachians for Sasquatch and other known and unknown cryptids. When he was eleven years old, he took a walk into the woods by himself, ignoring the rules, he walked deeper and deeper, feeling as if something was watching him. The silence around him was deafening, no bird song, no breaking of branches, or other sounds of the forest. He noticed the sun was lowering in the sky, so he turned back to head home when he saw it. A tall, furry figure peeked at him from behind an old willow tree. It had to be eight feet tall and broad, the figure was wider than the tree itself. A buzzing noise began to bombard him, causing a searing headache that dropped him to his knees, holding his head. Then he heard a deep, raspy voice asking him why he was in their territory. He was so scared he ran out of the forest as fast as he could. This was the incident that started him down his path of looking and finding unknown creatures in the woods.
While he was attending Serenity University, he shared a house with Ashley and twins Justin and Kat Parker, who hailed from another small town ten minutes away. All of them have had their own experiences in the woods with cryptids, and that is how UCG of the Appalachians started. UCG stands for Unidentified Cryptid Gang and has ten members, but the leaders are Sebastian, Justin, and another Serenity-born, Axel. They travel between Ohio, Kentucky, West Virginia, North Carolina, and Tennessee, searching for unknowns that call Appalachia home.
Sebastian's crazy is he believes that he is untouchable, that there is nothing that can harm him thanks to his ability and affinity for animals of all kinds. Only time will tell if he's right or wrong.
