In this blog, I will give you snippets of my characters from my stories. The first character I will be giving you an inside look into is Serenity, Ohio. You may be thinking to yourself, I don't understand, how can a town be a character?

Serenity, Ohio, is in itself the main character of all my stories as it ties them all together. Serenity is a small college town in Appalachia. Established in 1789, Serenity has its own personality. It rains a lot and seems to always be cloudy, the people are amazing, they all believe in the "live and let live, but only if it isn't hurting anyone" kind of town. We may seem cookie-cutter. However, we are what Paranormal Investigators call a hot spot. Our boundary just so happens to be ancient cemeteries designed in a Pentagram formation, and right in the center of this formation is none other than our sleepy town of Serenity. That's right; we have a lot going on in our town, like ghosts, curses, portals, devil worshippers, and folklore that will give us shivers.

If that wasn't enough, we just so happen to be in the Appalachian Foothills, where six months out of the year, the cryptids come down the mountain to the warmer climate that surrounds Serenity. It's all hands on deck looking for Sasquatch, The Rake, SW, Mimics, Huge Black Cats, Werewolves, Lizard Men, and my personal favorite, the Dogmen.

Oh, I almost forgot about the aliens, yep you guessed it, we have had those too. We're just lucky I guess to hit the supernatural trifecta of crazy.
